This is such a sacred, beautiful time to be alive. With all the trials and turbulent times we are in... there is a massive under current of major healing for all of us... if we so choose to open to the greater truth of who we are. A breaking through of all the barriers of what we have been told is the truth of who we are. What we are supposed to do in daily life, how we are supposed to be in society and that the powers that be really have control over everything we do.
The truth is we are so much greater than all of that... in and of ourselves. With the ability to heal, see, and change who we are and realizing how we really are connected “all things”.
I went out for a drive the other day, because I needed to get out of my head and what I experienced was nothing less than pure miracles everywhere and I was the witness:
I ended up finding a beautiful natural mountain spring of live water to fill my jug with and bring home to enjoy actual “LIVING” water.
A little further up the road the neighborhood was still under SO MUCH SNOW the houses were barely visible from the road...yet just a mile or so down the road there was no snow on the ground.
Four Bald Eagles and Two Osprey Flew right over the top of my car...a majestic sight to behold. I realized they were fishing in the river where the ice had melted and was flowing into the reservoir.
A bit further up the road I encountered a Tom turkey with all of his feathers in full plume as he was in pursuit of two hens. I pulled my car over and got to watch and take video of this spectacle. Never in my lifetime have I ever witnessed this natural and amazing mating dance. He paid me no never-mind... he was very focused on the task at hand.
I later took a walk along the shore of the still mostly frozen lake and took a long break sitting on a rock looking at this body of water in between spring and winter... in awe of nature and the natural world.
There is no rushing mother nature and her glorious creatures. The snow will melt when it melts, the rivers, reservoirs and lakes will thaw and fill when they do.
The birds and animals steward themselves and GOD/GODDESS, Mother Nature, Father sky provide regardless of what humans are pushing to achieve or make ourselves be more relevant.
A bird doesn’t judge whether or not he or she has enough, if they will land on the ground or in a tree the “right” way. They do not wonder if they have the right clothes, house, cars, jobs etc. They just are and it is so spectacular to behold, when we just take time to enjoy.
I’m very fortunate to live in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and choose to live in a small community. So, these scenes are abundant when I choose to actually leave the comfort of my home. Even here I forget to look outside, and take in the gorgeous views. Remembering my smallness and yet my greatness on this planet. For like all Gods creatures. I am a child of god and the universe.
Yes, mother nature can be harsh and unforgiving...yet she keeps on keeping on. And will continue to do so. We are here only as visitors and stewards of this planet to experience her greatness and ours. I was simply reminded to be Humble and In Awe of all of life.
The spring and summer will eventually come full circle to this area. The grass and flowers will grow, people will come from their hot climates to play in the woods and lakes for the summer...enjoying all the recreation we have available and leave when the conditions get too harsh. Like a dream that never happened they won’t see and experience what it’s really like to endure the winter. And yet who is asking them to. We all have our life path. And each get to choose what we choose.
Now, back to our greatness here as humans and opening to the fullness of who we are in the seeds of ourselves. Many of us have heard these words and yet... and yet... “who are we to not believe in our greatness”.
And by greatness, I mean the ability to cross bridges to each other even when we see things completely differently from one another. The ability to realize that our true nature is community and working together. Supporting our uniqueness and accepting each other as we are. Of course, we have likes and dislikes, opinions and beliefs that differ from one another and...isn’t that the spice of life!
What if...
Rather than looking at each other...expecting and wanting others to believe and accept what we believe, we become curious about one another. What if we choose to be Sovereign over ourselves rather than over others. What if , we come back to the middle in all things and see that truth and truths actually differ dependent on our beliefs, direct experiences, values, and social norms of where we are from... culturally or in our family.
What if we believed in our greatness and each others greatness?
